In an industry-wide effort to honor the U.S. military, veterans, and their families, NASCAR will launch its third annual "NASCAR: American Salute" initiative on Memorial Day weekend.
At Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 17, six-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson, will be expressing his gratitude by debuting a patriotic paint scheme on his #48 Lowe's Chevrolet SS. Johnson will pilot this stellar ride for multiple races this season.
